| Match Report 2009/2010 Fixture #16 : Mammas Pizzeria -v- Dunbar : 05.03.10 Dave
Weissgerber played Hector Milne - a debutant (a euphemism for ringer!) and
lost 3-0, still struggling with a dodgy knee. Philip
Revell lost 3-0 to Brian Clough. Not a good result against a bloke I
thought had been dead for six years!!. Alistair
Nichol was superb in gaining revenge against Stewart Williamson, winning
3-1 Graeme
Jones played Scott Carey – a good player but not the fittest. If Graeme
could have taken the third he might have gone on to win but lost a tight
one 9-7 to go down 3-0. I
played John Everett – I’d played him twice before and lost 3-0 both
times. Played well to stand at 1 game all and 4-4 in the third when John
had to retire injured – just after I’d barged into him going for a
drop – oops!
Anyway, a 3-2 defeat but very well looked after with Wings / Nacho’s
& Pizza in the Grassmarket post match! |
